Screenshot to PDF FAQ
How do I turn a screenshot into PDF?
Select or drop a PNG, JPG or WEBP screenshot, choose your page options, then click Generate & download PDF. Your browser creates and downloads the PDF directly on your device.
Can I convert multiple screenshots to one PDF?
Yes. Add multiple images and arrange them in your preferred order with the arrow buttons. Each screenshot becomes one page in the same PDF.
Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?
No. Images are read and converted locally in your browser. SnugPDF does not upload your screenshots or the generated PDF to a server.
Does converting a screenshot to PDF crop the image?
No. Both layouts preserve the complete image and its proportions. Fit to page uses A4 paper; Original aspect ratio uses image-shaped pages. Auto orientation follows each screenshot, while portrait and landscape force the page direction.
Will text in the screenshot become searchable?
No. This converter places your image on a PDF page; it does not perform OCR. The screenshot's text remains part of the image, not selectable PDF text.
Can I use screenshots from a phone or computer?
Yes. PNG, JPG and WEBP images from phones, tablets and computers are supported. Very large images or batches may exceed your browser's available memory; try fewer images if conversion fails.
