Should I convert PDF to JPG or PNG?
JPG usually gives smaller files for photos and general sharing. PNG uses lossless image encoding and is a good choice for screenshots, diagrams and sharp text.
How high is the image quality?
Choose 72, 144 or 216 DPI. Higher resolutions create more pixels and larger files, but cannot add detail that is missing in the original PDF. JPG quality can be adjusted from 50 to 100%.
Does this extract embedded pictures?
It renders each complete PDF page, rather than extracting individual embedded images. Text, pictures and page layout appear together in the output.
